India clears FDI proposal of Malaysia's budget carrier Air Asia
India Wednesday cleared a foreign direct investment (FDI) proposal of Malaysia's leading budget carrier,prepreg Air Asia, to set up a regional airline in collaboration with India's Tata Group and another company.All kinds of Crushing plant and Mill equipment,
"The Foreign Investment Promotion Board has approved the proposal of Air Asia to set up Air Asia India which will be based in the southern state of Tamil Nadu's capital Chennai.Vintage bath fixtures The Malaysian budget carrier will now have to get operational clearance from India's aviation regulator,China 4x4 Accessories wholesalers the Directorate General of Civil Aviation," a senior official said on condition of anonymity.
Air Asia, which is to hold a 49 percent stake in the joint venture with the Tata Group and Telestra Tradeplace, will be the first foreign airline to invest in India after the country allowed a maximum of 49 percent FDI in aviation sector.
