The locker room has its own culture and rules and Martin is resented for breaking the code and ratting out a popular teammate and not trying to resolve the issue by talking to teammates and coaches rather than going public. Call a team meeting,” LT said. “You stand up and ask the coach, ‘I want a few minutes,’ and ask the coaches to leave.” Then you say, ‘I’ve got to get this off my chest.’ That’s when people are going to respect you.
